Shun South Africa's products, Nigerians protest

The Campaign for
Democracy (CD) has called on Nigerians to shun products and
services of South African companies in Nigeria as a protest
the xenophobic violence in the Southern African country.

“We call on Nigerians to as a mark
of solidarity with these victims
boycott all South African companies
and their products in Nigeria until the(President Jacob) Zuma government
is able to guarantee the safety of our citizens and bring the perpetrators
of these dastardly acts to book,” Dr
Joe Okei – Odumakin of CD said.

He said they were particularly
disturbed by the attacks against
Nigerians given the enormous
sacrifices Nigeria made in the anti-
apartheid struggle in South Africa.

This violence has claimed africans lives Nigeria included and left many maimed since the onset of the xenophobic attacks.

There are quite numbers of firm who has South Africa as their origin here in Nigeria
