Beyonce visits Haiti to see improvement made after 2010 earthquake.

Music Superstar Beyonce has visited Haiti with a United Nations official for
humanitarian affairs.

Haiti UN mission spokeswoman Sophie Boutaud de la Combe said Saturday that Beyonce visited the
Caribbean country to look at progress made since a devastating
earthquake in January 2010 and to “meet some of the people who were affected by it.” De la Combe says the American
singer visited Haiti with Valerie Amos, undersecretary general for humanitarian affairs and emergency
relief coordinator.

Photos taken during her Haiti visit show Beyonce wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with the name of her
charity organization.

It wasn’t immediately clear how long Beyonce’s stop in Haiti was or exactly where she visited.
