I will not lose my job says Pellegrini

Manuel Pellegrini insists he will still be at Manchester City next season and
hopes to earn a new contract at the Etihad
Stadium.

Pellegrini's current deal expires in 2016 but his position is expected to come under scrutiny if
City do not retain the Premier League title,
while the Chilean's agent Jesus Martinez said this week that his client could be interested in a
move to Napoli if he were to leave the club.

However, during a news conference on Friday, Pellegrini shrugged off such speculation and
said he is willing to commit himself to City for a longer period. "My future is very easy," he said.

"I have a contract here until June 2016 and I will finish my contract here. And if I can extend my contract, I will extend my contract.

"When I sign a contract, I always try to finish my contract in the amount of years I sign at the beginning. If I am not happy, maybe I try and finish my contract before.

Here, I am very happy. I will continue without any problems until the end of my contract."
